Hey, what can I tell you?

When I was a kid I wanted to be an aeroplane pilot and I always had a fascination with guitars and motorcycles. So here I am living the life of a worship leader/musician having dabbled at motocross and flying in the past.

Currently my curiousity is piqued with Ethno-Celt worship, a fusion of various indigineous sounds and flavours that reflect something of the diverssity I see in the worship described in Rev7:9

You can get 2 of my Ethno-Celt flavoured tunes to download at www.andyrogersmusic.com/2free

Anyway - here's the official biog stuff from my website:

Andy Rogers

An artist on EMI Kingsway Music’s original  ‘New Celts’ album (along with Robin Mark, Brian Houston & Joanne Hogg) and more recently on ‘Engage24’ again with EMI Kingsway Andy hails from the Causeway Coast town of Coleraine, where he lives with his wife and daughters as a man in a woman’s world!
As a singer/songwriter his style has been described as 'Ethno-Celt' - a mix of acoustic ethnic sounds fused with his contemporary musical sensibilities. He currently serves on the worship team at Causeway Coast Vineyard with Kathryn Scott

He has been leading worship throughout Ireland and internationally for the last 18 years, and has been writing and recording his own material during that time. In true Celtic tradition, Andy draws much of his inspiration for his music from nature, and his style, like the man, embraces diversity with ease: it is easy going yet passionate, gentle yet focused, even tempered yet red haired!! His appreciation of God's creation is matched only by his profound fascination with gadgets!
