What is Humility to you?

your thoughts please....

Wedding Singer

Wedding SingerI was hugely blessed today. About 2 weeks ago, my great friend and colleague Stephanie Fong invited me to sing at her wedding. I have been going to my freinds weddings now for about 5 years, and in that time have been to about 20 weddings. I realise from this time, that it is a huge honour for someone to be asked to sing at a wedding. Generally, as far as I can see it is an honour reserved for a close and skilled family member or musically learned friend; e.g. the likes of Jenn Potter or Caroline Bridges (those who know them, will equally know what I mean). So it was with huge honour that I agreed to do it, aspiring to be Hong Kong's version of these two great singers if you like.

"Dear Friends,
Please place your vote, and pass onto anybody else you may feel will vote accordingly. It's currently sitting at 55% in favour of the mosque. This is another good chance to stand up for our beliefs."

Nor Man's Empty Praise

Nor Man's Empty PraiseBe Thou My Vision

Riches I heed not, nor man's empty praise;
Thou mine inheritance, now and always;
Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,
High King of heaven, my treasure Thou art.

International Man of Mystery!

Forget Austin Powers - this man truly is an International Man of Mystery!

He just showed up on my TV!!!!!

I was just watching BBC world in my appartment in Hong Kong and there was a report on internet password theft, and they were illustrating the point with a magician 'guessing' the card of his beautiful assistant. It was of course Mr Jon Van Der Put

Go in Peace to love and serve the Lord..

I've always loved this command at the end of the Anglican service. (I think it features in other denomination’s services too).

But I have found myself sitting there at the end of many a Sunday service, wondering how much of the last week was spent loving or serving God.

Talk to me about Freemasonry

I need some answers...

Rain!

Rain!It's raining today. it hasn't rained in Hong Kong for a little while, and generally I've been blessed in never having to go out in it.

I sometimes miss the rain, like when i used to have to walk along the Lonsdale Road and get soaked,

I realised that these feelings weren't real! I don't miss it at all.

Sorry to you lot in the UK, but hey it's set to be sunny with you my Sunday!

A Night on a Junk

This is a Junk. The other night in the beginning of winter, we, James ,Jen and I were invited to go on one of these for a carol service.

It was great, there were actually two boats which set off from Aberdeen harbour on the south side of the island.
