'Da Vinci Code' protesters....

I am not particulary one to comment on as I haven't played much of an active role, but shouldn't followers of the Lord Jesus be approaching this new 'Da Vinci Code' film a different way.
I'm sure that when it is released around the world Christians will be protesting outside the cinemas telling people that this is 'blasphemy' and offensive (reminiscent of 'The Last Temptation of Christ'). Shouldn't these protesters unite at these places and 'promote' Jesus that he is infact alive today. I just feel that all to often people are too busy protesting and arguing rather than getting to the point of the whole debate; that Jesus is here.

The Miserables..

I went to see Les Miserables in the West End earlier and never realised how much of a religious undertone there is. It's something I want to look into but according to some sources Victor Hugo was Freemason (and fairly high ranking), and so it is interesting to see someone of this type write a book with such a Christian backbone (or is it?). Maybe he was just expressing the general notion of Christianity and hope in a time of national chaos (the French revolution) rather than a personal homage.

Judas Gospel...

What do people think of this recently revealed 'Judas Gospel'? Does anyone know of, or personally seen this ancient scripture? After reading Nicky Gumbel's response of the Dan Brown Da Vinci Vode book it does seem that the media far to often protray these additional gospels incorrectly.

Hello gentle (well most!) humans! I must first announce that i'm not sure what to put in my blog. I did consider the idea of writing a little about myself, but I just felt it would be like writing my own obituary (I still have a while to go for that I suppose!). Hmmm, well I guess I have no choice!
